DH helps your DPS, but does absolutely nothing for healing. Personally I avoid it for that reason, but if you want the biggest DPS boost you can get, going full DH should provide it.

Crit, Spell Speed, and Determination all help both, in different ways. Crit will give you bigger numbers and proc Secret of the Lily II, if you care about that, which I find is nicer when doing multi pull tank heals ( as a Cure 2 crit is really noticable), but less so on AoE healing because you won't crit everyone and thus might need a second heal anyway. Determination is a straight increase to everything you do, so it's reliable. Spell Speed lets you get off spells faster, which is handy when you're running around a lot.

Piety gives you more MP. WHM MP is already pretty good, so generally speaking this isn't favored. If you are having MP issues it may be more interesting to you, but that could also be an issue of just not using Lucid Dreaming and Assize often enough.

Given that, it depends on your style and what you'd like to increase. There isn't really a single optimum way to meld WHM unless you have a more specific goal in mind.

    that trait is trash

it's a 20% chance AFTER whatever crit%, based on two spells (one which is rarely used and the other one you don't want to spam), to reduce cooldown of two OK abilities by a pitiful 5 seconds?

sometimes i wonder if i've gone through entire boss fights without it proccing once, and even if it did proc a few times, WOOP-DEE-DOO, what's 5-15 seconds in the grand scheme of things?

the trait reminds me of the original version of Plenary Indulgence, sometimes i wonder what the devs are thinking

I say screw it and just mend Det before going into anything else.

Spell Speed and Crit are nice options ofc but in the grand scheme of things, I just prefer the consistent buff from Det.

Spell Speed is great cause it buffs up our DoTs/HoTs as well as allows for faster casting but it's always been a trait I've generally avoided on WHM just because, until recently, it was a huge MP drain and while WHM is no longer MP starved, I'm still cautious about putting too much into the stat.

Crit is a proc and while it is beautiful when it works, it's not something that you can ultimately rely on.

I usually go Det > Crit > Spell Speed but that's just me.

Yup. Hence "if you care about that". It's overly complicated, exactly like PI was. Someone really wanted more RNG in their healing this expansion, and it fell flat.
