I'm in the U.S., and when I go to Register/Update Payment Method, it just gives me an option to adjust my ClickAndBuy settings.

Maybe I need to unlink my account on the ClickAndBuy side first? But they say that can take up to 7 days.

When I go through "List Options Continued Automatically," the only options it gives are ClickAndBuy and Crysta.

Hummm, i got a third option when selecting Ultimate Play option, i can just put my credit card info in there and sav for future times to pay for crysta, and i have the paypal and giftcard option!! But i do agree with other post, i rather just do a direct pay to SE, but these options are still better than previous.

I was so pumped up when I saw this screenshot!
I went to try it, and... well... not worked as intended.

I still had the ClickandBuy option, and if I can't pay with PayPal for Crysta, that means that I can't even play, because ClickandBuy doesn't accept Swiss credit cards. STOP HATING US SO MUCH!

I even tried to add some Crysta going in the menu with the button "About Crysta" and pressing the button "Add Crysta to my SQUARE ENIX Account", but once I've selected for example 1'000 Crysta, the next page got me a result with an error 11000 saying that I got in that page not correctly. Whah?

Please SquareEnix, I want to pay you for your work and my enjoyment. You can't allow this to happen, it's a d*ckmove to refuse money from clients!

I've been using this payment method on FFXI forever. It's why I never actually bitched about ClickAndBuy. Did people somehow just not look hard enough for this?

The paypal part is to only by the Crista or whatever it's called right? That whole path still bugs me because you end up with some left over every month. I just wanna pay my re a curing monthly fee right into SE big golden pockets. But all in all I say it's a great start to have pay pal open to us for payments.

Given that they're thinking of discounted price you may not end up with left over -- That's only for FFXI where base price is 1295 Crysta a month (+ additional 100 for each character), that's when you end up with left over, XIV has different rates as well as payment periods.

aye there's the rub it's November guess what is coming very very soon Pay to Play which they said would be end nov/beginning dec. 'Tis not too far off. Alas these months have gone by so quickly!
