Let's talk about Hunts - a detailed rundown of their assumed mechanics

Croakadile and and Mindflayer, when the condition is met they don't pop instantly, but you can force them to do it by walking to their spawn points, or you can wait for them to spawn naturally. Done that at least 4 times now so there's no way it's a coincidence.

Croakadile and Mindflayer don't spawn without walking over the spawn points. You need to do that in order for them to spawn. If not you have to wait for the next new/full moon. It's not a forced spawn - it's the actual trigger while the specific moon phase is there.

Croakadile is in a zone with many new players so someone could've spawned him without knowing what it is so it seems like it spawned without doing anything.
And for Mindflayer - in the upper path of the South Shroud he can spawn between trees so you don't see him the first time sometimes and only when you pass the area a second time.

Udumbara: definitely cant be beech branches. Just had a spawn and node was not up yet.

I'm not sure how many low level players go to this spot at 4-5 am EST in a mid pop server (Diabolos)



But without being there it's hard to know if a low level accidentally spawned it or not.

But either way you just cited a double condition, moon phase + walking through spawn points, so I don't see Orghana's Fate (or monster kill) + spawn point to be some sort of exception, mechanically it falls in line with Croakadile

The moon phase is not something a player has any control over, that's what I meant while I talked about Orghana - as a player you need to hit two conditions: killing the fate/or the mobs and walk/fly over a spawn location. For Croak/Mindy it's only one thing a player needs to to.

I understand your point, but I disagree that having two points of player input is any different than server input (moon) + player input (spawn points). Also for clarification I'm not saying I agree with that being the condition, I'm just stating it shouldn't be dismissed or considered unlikely.

It's more of a side note now, but I dare say mid pop servers get more new players than servers that are mostly locked for new creations due to being full, at least in this context of low level players hitting spawn points, and even then we didn't have many new players wandering around that zone, there's prob just one or two class quests that ask players to go near that point.

We just had our first Udumbara about half an hour ago - could be that the timer is just not up for you yet.
I killed many Leshy's about five minutes before the spawn and then someone else came and bam, pop.

Alright, I call myself defeated - Orghana spawned on Lousioix with .. dam dam dam: doing the FATE and then fly over the spawn location where Orghana hides to make him spawn.

Spawned Bone Crawler, it popped halfway through the flight path as people have been saying.

Just got our first Udumbara kill. Only 2 people in the specific instance at the time and it spawned after I killed my third leshy. We've spawned several Bone Crawlers and it is 100% a pop halfway through the flight path.

As a gather up:

Orghana: Defeat the FATE "Not Just A Tribute" and fly over a spawn location.
Bone Crawler: Use the Chocobo Porter in The Peaks - the trigger is midway of the flight.
Udumbara: Kill Leshy's in The Fringes to make him pop.
Gamma: Fly over a spawn location with the Toy Alexander Minion summoned.
Salt And Light: Discard items from your inventory in the zone.
Okina: Spawns at full moon - probably just before it hits full moon on the first day.
