Well thinking about it. Final Fantasy has 2 out of the 3 basic Warrior, Rogue/Archer, and Mage Job trinity covered for their series.

Machinist is the Magitek Rogue/Archer Job and Gunblade users are the Magitek Warrior Job.

They are just missing that Magitek Mage job to complete the Job trinity for Magitek Users in FF series.
