Shouldn't this thread have ended the minute he said this was a discord conversation?

I mean, I get that people kick others for stupid reasons, and no one likes to be discriminated against, but this was over discord, there is nothing for SE to take action on, and it's unlikely discord will take action either, though maybe check with them?

If nothing else it serves to raise awareness of a very valid issue. Playing on Balmung I've found that certain portions of a certain community advertising themselves as 'tolerant' are, in fact, some of the most bigoted, discriminatory and manipulative individuals I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. I also think a lot of people don't realise that it's an issue - as evidenced by some of the responses to this thread. So if it serves to change even one person's mind then the OP did an excellent job in my opinion.

Well, invest in Balmung's community and you'll find certain portions of it most definitely discriminate based on what the OP believes to be the case. I doubt Gilgamesh is much different where such extremists are concerned.
