Is Housing (Savage) the actual "Super Savage" content we are receiving in 4.1?

Between the artificial scarcity of plots, NTT servers that fold like lawn chairs at the slightest amount of pressure and SE's implied disdain to actually addressing the issue, I am convinced that Housing will be the "Super Savage" content that the XIV team promised us in 4.1 and will be more difficult than any raid this game will ever offer currently. SE is fast to talk about plush cushions and Dengeki novels but will not even mention how they plan on addressing housing for the vast majority of the player base. With only 720 net-new plots (72 Large, 168 Med, 480 Small) for an entire 2Y expansion per server, they perpetuate a manufactured scarcity and therefore consent to a real estate black market due to SE's inaction towards the issue. Their excuse is "resource limitation" but yet they give us Diadem and Lord of Verminion, both of which are complete wastes of dev time and resources.

Can we, the paying customers of this game, finally get more housing?

Well I assume there will also be apartments in each ward. Okay it's not a house with a garden but it's still something. Well, if you're a solo buyer, it's not an option for fcs.

Because people will make shell fcs if they're not able to have a private house they can decorate as they like. So no making them fc only will not solve anything. We need more options not more restrictions.

My medium house IS a need for me and a couple of my friends to use. It is as well decorated as any FC house I have seen and it is MINE.

Well for anyone who wants to explore every aspect of the game, housing is a need because of gardening. You can only do cross planting with an outdoor garden.

While I would love for them to address the issue I am far from holding my breath for it to happen. My husband and I have a small house that popped up on our server, and our FC's bank has enough gil to where we can afford any house we want if a larger one ever opens ... (I didn't want to cram the 22 plus people we have in a tiny house..) But as it stands now we rotate who is allowed in our personal house so people of the fc can color their chocobo or have a quick teleport to repair from. As it stands now I am working on gardening but it's slow going with only one garden plot allowed on the small estate and the garden is being used to grow onions to help my fc mates level their chocobos further.

Personally I cannot wait till we can get a Fc house so I can work on the airship stuff but at the earliest that'll be somewhere in oct when I can even think of that.. If even then.

Needs of the many > needs of the few. If SE is going to insist on limited plots, then it needs to be restricted in a way that will allow as many people access as possible - FCs only. Sure there will be 1 person FCs, but it will still greatly reduce the amount of solo owners and allow a lot more people access to housing. Don't hate me, hate SEs backwards housing system.
