Fate. the development of events beyond a person's control, regarded as determined by a supernatural power... So by that merit they are doing their intended duty. They are a random variable that yes may impede your progress and it's up to you whether or not you choose to partake in the duty.

Sorry fam, but the most casual of casuals can still get through the MSQ. What you are complaining about is a non-issue. If this is such a struggle for you for some reason, it may be time for some introspection.

I'm honestly wondering what FATE-quest-combination is giving you so much trouble since I cant recall having any issues like that.
Fates being in the way of my gathering - yes.
Mobs attacking me on occassion while handing in quests - sure.

But never something like you describing... so whats the FATE thats troubling you on which quest?

The fate you're talking about is literally on the back end of Western La Noscea, the only quests that would ask you to go there are Job quests and Sahagin quests.

I understood what the OP meant right away because, even if I don't have an issue with this, I have a friend who has died a few times while doing his MSQ because a FATE spawned on top of him. He's a proud loldragoon.

While this is...technically an issue sometimes, I'm sure I can think of at least 100 other things that need to be fixed first.

That's not really a problem, there is 2 easy options:

1. Do the fate.
2. Then Do your quest

1. Wait for the fate to expire (Usually 15 minutes)
2. Then Do your quest.

Now, sometimes, even rarely, a fate might pop up on your face while you're already deeply busy with a quest fight. Survive or don't. You're just a simple respawn away to do your quest again in the worst case.

An Elite A rank camping a lowbie quest spot is something that can really prevent a player from completing a quest if nobody comes to kill it. That's a valid complaint. But fates can be easily dealt with or worked around.

at least you found the time to complain, I am still trying to understand what that has to do with EGO at the end of the day. Fate spawns don't bother me, I walk either around it or kill it. Fates will give you more exp anyways, unless it's a MSQ npc you're talking about, that stands right in the center of the boss mob. Doubtful.

Let me add this tho, since you are pretty much stressed out already, wait till you run in the actual problem, that happens more often actually. You try to do your MSQ and a S/A rank pop's right on top of you and the npc, if you're on a low populated server, you probably done for the next 4 days, because it will 1 shot you and without people killing it or server maintenance, it isn't going to just disappear.
