*sigh* Arguing that the devs will have double the work is silly. They -want- our opinions. They -want- their game to be successful. If people want a Wyvern they could find a way to work around it and appeal to a broader audience. Is that such a bad thing, really?

I don't want them to add Wyverns to Dragoons again personally, because I think it would be interesting to have the dragon's abilities on the Dragoon itself (Like breath attacks and healing breaths for example). That's not to say I don't want a pet Wyvern at all though. If the beastmaster class/job they have in the works allowed for a "favored pet" of some sort that you could keep with you, instead of having disposable pets all the time, players could always play a Lancer and cross-class their pet. Just an idea. I think I would just be satisfied with having my Chocobo fight beside me. Especially if we get to use our Chocobo in combat often.
