Agree that certain mobs need to have certain skills made less spamable, knock back for goats, teleportation for flies and burrow for moles are all very annoying when the monster spams them like no tomorrow.

Edit:- Just read Reins post, nice to see this is being addressed.

Very good to see its being addressed.
And I agree on the part, that it should simply knock you down on the ground, instead of sending you skating away.

I can handle knock back on goats. I get annoyed at moles burrowing every third hit. I hate flies teleporting into a group and then linking them all to you. Multiple porting flies suck.

During a leve, 3 nannygoats spawned. We all know about this knockback attack they do, that knocks you redicules far back.

Well, imagine all 3 goats, doing that move with less than a second apart.
That distance are then multiplied 3 times.... I'm sadly not kidding.

They hit me with less than a second apart, and I just kept getting knocked back, further and futher away, while they were still standing at that same spot.

Just about every damn mob got some kind of retarded knockback attack. But imo, nannygoats take the price of being the most annoying.

I checked with the development team and let them know about the concerns here about enemies spamming knockback. They said that they'll be making adjustments based on all of your feedback so please let them know anything else related to monster actions that you would like fixed. I see things about gnats listed here, too. And the moles... (Also gonna move this over to battle mechanics, too)

Thank you much! Thanks the dev team also.

I have only one thing about moles, they seem to be able to dig down underground again as soon as they emerge and attack from the previous dig. I thought their special moves were triggered by TP or low HP, so I would expect them to not do it twice in a row like that. It gets really upsetting and troublesome when they spam it.

This has happened to me during LQs at Broken Water and LQs at Treespeak. Haven't tested outside of LQ yet.

could you pass along that while the change to 100 needles for low level cactuars was very helpful. they will constantly spam the move. my current record for chain 100 needles used on me is about 7. During leves with grouped cactuars, all of them can go absolutely nuts using the move. Making a ko bit more prolonged then it use to be but still inevitable.

This was adjusted in a hotfix on October 29th. Are you still experiencing it?

The goats and the boars' knockback move can be countered by moving to their back as soon as you see it coming.

To being able to move "as soon as you see it coming", you may want to adjust your fighting pattern so you have enough time to move your character to avoid being hit, or at least adjust your direction of knockback.

There're factors which affects the success rate of the above method though,
1st it's the latency, which needs no explanation I believe.
The other one is the animations piled up before the mob making its move,
it mostly happen in a party, but being in a party makes being knocked back less of a deal to me.

They do that move around once per fight, sometimes twice for me. I noticed no apparent difference compared to other monster behavior.
