Thread: Longer straight hairstyle suggestion

I think clipping is the reason why there's so few long hair styles. They don't want to deal with players whining about clipping.

We need really long hairstyles, both straight and wavy/with and without bangs.we have enough boy cuts -.-

Then they should design at least one or 2 long hairstyles properly then and not have clipping? Put the extra time in to do it right.
"Do things once and do them right" should be their philosophy.

I personally don't care too much about clipping, but SE should start designing new additions without the clipping in the first place, set the bar a tad higher sheesh

The clipping issues will always exist as long as clothes have ostentatious collars and decorations but you simply deal with it by dressing to suit the hairstyle. IIRC Ysayle's hair made a comeback in the SB DRK quest (at least it looked similar to me) so perhaps they're already working on that one?

Hope they do work on longer hairstyles... as many people said around here, they dont mind the clipping

I would be happy just having a long hairstyle like the one I have without the white headband on it. Sometimes I want to glamour darker outfit types on my character, and there's the bright white headband sticking out like a sore thumb. Yet long, uneven at the ends (I'm not a fan of straight/hime cuts like Queen's hair from PotD) hair has been a part of my characters image for years. In fact, there's two styles, one on midlander female and the other Au'ra female, that I would love to have. So SE making me happy would be as simple as making two existing hairstyles cross-race.

Otherwise I am in full support of more long hairs. Even more so since I already put up with my tail clipping through 70% of all outfits as is. And all shields use to clip on my long hair (thank you heroic spirit shield!) before, as well, so I am quite use to it.

If they really cared about clipping they wouldn't design dumb shit like whm af3, the back is completely ruined.

really tired of these gender neutral samey short-cuts we've been getting for so long now

if it clips, I will glamour something else, I don't see why clipping is a valid reason why not to when we already have a ton that do just that already. Glamouring is instant and easy and if I really like an armor, I'll find a hair that matches it well.

Much longer hairstyles would be very nice indeed, AND to not let make look like a solid piece of carpet as the ones we have now.

Maybe they will blame the PS3/PS4 thing, but most hairstyles that we have in the game are super boring. No wild curls, no sexy cuts, just plain old boring (mostly) straight carpet hair.

Come on Square Enix step up your hair game, cause we know you can!!!
