Thread: Longer straight hairstyle suggestion

The problem with long hair. The longer it is, the more it'll clip into things.

The long styles we have already clip with some armors. I'm sure people that like to use them (and future long styles) don't mind having to pick from a narrower selection of armor models to avoid clipping.

Even Ysayle's, Yotsuyu's, and Yugiri's (y names?) longer than average hairstyles clip their own personal and unique gear, so it's less of a good excuse anymore.

It'd also be nice to have Stormblood SAM art hairstyle, some proper hair length.

Would be long, but would also avoid some of the clipping with armor.

I personally wouldn't use them because the clipping would drive me mad, but I'm all for more options for people who would use a longer hairstyle.

I think clipping is the reason why there's so few long hair styles. They don't want to deal with players whining about clipping.

While we are on the subject... I would like to be able to choose bangs and back hair separately. Never gonna happen but it would be nice.

I do not care at all about clipping issues. I just want that hair style cause velvet is awesome. Or at least a similar long hair style.

I think clipping is the reason why there's so few long hair styles. They don't want to deal with players whining about clipping.

But they want to deal with players "whining" about the lack of long hairstyles? The thing is, no one would be forced to use a long hairstyle and implementing a couple would stop this "whining" about their absence.

I'd prefer having a long curly/wavy style with a lot of volume and layers. I'm not a fan of even Barbie cuts like the one from PotD. Bangs don't matter too much as long as they don't look out of place. Guys should get longer beard styles. Not necessarily Santa lookalikes but maybe some handsome braided beards. I'd also love if guys got some natural looking curly, wavy and long hair styles. The pony tail of a certain MSQ character comes to mind.

I would love more beautiful, feminine, long or cutesy hairstyles but for some reason it seems they keep releasing more unisex esque hair, assuming they do it so they have to design less hairstyles for both genders.

It's got nothing to do with gender. Men are starved for decent long styles too, and some of us do actually want them. I hate short hair on my character and hated most of the new short styles we got in HW. More long hair and updos so that we can all be glamorous and/or samurai-like, please!

The fact that we got that grandma-style bun hairdo in HW shows they don't mind releasing feminine hair for guys any more, and I'm completely ok with this. Bring on the longer hair.
