    so you main monk and you really want me to believe there isn't a ton of useless abilities and even underwhelming support abilities when paired up with trick attack or battle litany? Monk needs a lot of work still at this point, it really feels like the dev team didn't know what to do to monk in the expansion so they just added some random crap to see how it would go

    Yes, let's not "cry" about. Let's just silently leave them be, as the core of their job is destroyed with clunky abilities and useless filled skills.

    Tackle Mastery is absolutely useless. It baffles me why SE saw fit to even do this. Did they really not have any other ideas for Monk?
    And RoF, while definitely powerful, feels like a slap in the face for long-time Monk players.
    Meanwhile Ninja does as much damage as us, and they didn't need to lose the core of their identity for it to happen.

    I actually thought they would of expanded on chakra abilities. We could of had an aoe version, one that gave instant gl3 etc.

    You are getting tired of these salty monk threads but it doesn't sound like you have read a single one of them. None of them are talking about damage. In fact most of them explicitly say the damage is fine up front. Was this some pseudo epeen disguised thread where you thought you could brag that you are a better MNK than the people in those threads? News flash, MNK is one of the easier classes in the game.

    The things that people are complaining about is that the class doesn't feel fun and doesn't feel like it has evolved for the last 2 expansions. Maybe you don't feel that way and that is cool. Usually when you see the a lot of the same topic pop up over and over again it hints that there might be a majority opinion towards that idea.

    Glad that you like the new job, OP. Or more like, the exact same job as before, only slower and even more repetitive. Most veteran monks are bound to be angry though.

    It is kind of strange. Using a skill to get to something and knocking it away. ???? Like I get that it could be nice for pushing enemies away out of combat but then you might interrupt other people that were attacking it. I mean imagine if you had double monks in a 4 man dungeon, that sounds horrible.

    I think the OP posted a sloppy thread not geared for any constructive dialogue. Anyone with 2 IQ points to rub together on the issue knows DPS numbers have not been the central issue. "I'm ilvl317 Monk" - anyone consider that he could be a SAM player since they share the same gear anyways? Many players have higher ilvls than myself as Monk simply because they play the game overall far more and just gear everything up despite having no love or care for the job.

    If it works good in PvP then they can have it, I'll gladly exchange it for Axe Kick or Somersault any day.
