Mithril ore yields

Oh is that why my LS friend said "I admire your tenacity in digging Mythril Ore" when I announced in my LS that I got 99+54 Silver Ores and 56 Mythril Ores from my Gridania mining trip?

Come to think of it, the ratio of my Ore yields indeed seems bad for Mythril Ore, even though I was always aiming at +3 for Mythril sweet spot.

It would be great already if they let us be able to get 1-2 Mythril Ores. Heck, it doesn't have to have big yield like 3-5 as other stuff, just 1-2 is fine. 1 per dig is a bit too stingy in my opinion.

As with many things in this game, Mythril ore yield makes no sense.

As GSM I switched to making Electrum Rings ASAP because I can mine stacks of Electrum ore without even trying. Not that I'm necessarily complaining - I'm happy that higher level synths are easier to get materials for, but it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

i generally hit 1-3 cobalt on a regular basis, try raising you gathering. im not exp in mythril.

cobalt prices are lower then mythril, but i thought that was cause its so easy to mine at iron lake.

Gathering has nothing to do with yield amounts, confirmed by the dev's themselves. Only mind has an affect on it, and even at over 300 mind, i have yet to see mythril come at more than 1 per hit.

Dumb system is dumb, but atleast mythril is just a bridging material til cobalt or electrum depending on your crafting class.

im lvling arm i there are some things to lvl in between that let me skip mythril al together thank god. ive been lvlin on cobalt ingots for awile and im gonna turn alot of the into rings and plates for my nest lvl jump.

Could someone with crafting experiencing introduce this as a game bug? I really think this was an oversight that the devs forgot to take into account when they changed the tiers of the crafts and materials (mythril going from top tier to second top tier). I would file a report but I haven't touched DoL, but I this is something that adversely affecting economy and crafting/gathering as a whole.
