    This might be true in WoW, but not here. Heals take 1.2 seconds to cast, BLM nukes take 1.8. They can heal and LoS before you can get a cast off, and good healers do this all the time. This isn't even factoring in latency which lets you start moving about 0.3-0.5 seconds before a cast finishes, making the true cast time for heals around 0.6-0.9s before you can move and begin LoSing.

    I appreciate you trying to help, but honestly you're not telling me anything new. I already do this, this is my burst. Doing it on a dummy is one thing, doing it in an actual match reliably is a whole different situation. The problem is that against good players you:

    1) will have trouble just getting that thunder proc and being able to use it at the right time reliably. 1 Line of Sight, 1 stun, 1 silence post-proc and you lose it before you get to use it in the burst rotation.
    2) will have even more trouble getting a hardcast Flare off, followed by a hardcast fire 4. This requires 5 seconds of uninterrupted casting, which is rare against a good tank and/or DPS who are watching you (see original weakness post). Not to mention that the heavy from the Flare doesn't actually hit until you are 1s in to the Fire 4 cast.

    Again, I am aware of how to play BLM and know the burst. The issues stand.

    According to your previous logic it is entirely possible to get all casts off as a BLM with current cast times, even though it isn't. Still though, if it were possible (which is what 1s cast times would help move the class towards) then the damage would not change. Recast times would remain the same, damage would be the same, it would just help combat the other issues I mentioned.

    I started with healers(sch and whm till lv70)in new Feast, found it was extremely hard to heal against a free casting blm
    So the priority will be cc the blm the entire game when I switched to pld

    At last I tried blm, against a good tank blm is kind of useless even with dr up trait as what KM mentioned

    Thunder can do a lot damage indeed, but it costs too much mp, have to switch back ice frequently
    Fire 4(or few Fire 4) + Swift Flare + if there's Thunder 3 is nice, but after Flare next Spell will be 3 seconds later
    It's also hard to follow up the melee burst because of the cast time

    Blm may need more defensive cds or cc skills

    I've only done Frontier Siege post 4.0, I should try out feast with my BLM and see how I feel about it. While the streamlined actions are a nice way to reduce hotbar clutter, I do feel a considerably underpowered since HW.
