It's not silly, it's detrimental. As it is now, Quickened Aetherflow is best ignored. There's basically 2 situations you're in as a SCH; PUGs, where you want to always keep at least one stack for an emergency Lustrate/Indom, and thus can't afford to burn the stack early in the hope that you might get the cooldown reduction. Or a raid setting, where you're planning out every usage ahead of time, and the unreliable cooldown shortenings are pointless, because they can't be planned around.

Assuming there's very light damage going out you can just ED 3 times, but if you know there will be damage coming soon you might as well Excog and "stock" that healing.

Beyond silly. A lot can happen in 30s, and you need those stacks on hand all the time just in case. Even if I have Aetherflow off CD I still won't waste stacks, a time may come where I'm forced to pop multiple Lustrates and I'd rather have the Aetherflow ready. If anything, that trait needs to make Aetherflow 45s guaranteed 60s. That alone would be a massive QoL change for SCH (though making Indom a 1s cooldown like Lustrate would really help too).

Excog seems to be suited for tank buster attacks. However, Excog is kind of under-tuned at the moment. If Excog could Critical Hit and possibly be 700 potency instead of 650 potency right now, Excog would be a lot better.

Excog seems to be really useful to counter tank busters. I've had a couple of tanks get one shot by tankbuster mechanics in Omega 4, but maybe that's because they messed up the mechanics? No idea, but I imagine if we had a Scholar excog, the tank might have lived?

In an actual one-shot situation Excog won't help, because it doesn't trigger until after damage is taken. The reason it looks like it just negates damage is because it happens so fast that the client-side HP bar doesn't update in time.

I did confirm this just now in lakshmi ex, got an offtank killed with a 28k hit while he had excog on. To test it successfully, it had to be a hit that was fatal, but only barely, so that if the excog had activated, it would have saved him. Excog didn't activate, and he died in one hit that did over half his total health. (he was a good sport about it)

Excog being the anti-tank buster is what I think the intended use is. It's good for mass pulls, too.

Super useful. Heals more then Lustrate, tossing it in before tank busters or big damage keeps tank up followed with a lustrate tops them off. Emergency Tactics and Ald also better then Lustrate just has a cast time ( as far as potency ) and can crit. I find myself not using Lustrate as much. Lustrate is good dont get me wrong but unless it crits is medicore since the changes.

650p vs 600p is negligible. Excog also can't crit, which Lustrate can. On average, Lustrate will heal more than Excog.
