Healers dont Heal since they can also do damage now.

Healer damage can be pretty good though. I've chased off enemy healers a few times by pressuring them while my team carves everyone else up, and I do get tactical kills - kills which wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been there to slow or snipe a fleeing enemy. Previously, it was abolutely soul destroying being stuck in back to back Shatter matches where people avoided the enemy and you could only attack ice for pathetic damage.

I maintain that the bad healers who don't heal would be just as bad if their damage spells sucked again. Healing in FL is quite tricky.

I can't remember how many time I died as DPS just because my healer was dpsing

Last time this happened to me was yesterday, died next to big ice as WHM was too busy spamming stone even if those ices still have that magic dmg reduction... so for those who are leveling healers via pvp just use something else and swap to healer just before end so you don't give illusion to others that "yay we have healers" when you have absolutely no intent in healing.

Yep all the time. It's pretty pathetic actually. I think to myself how few heals I'm going to get when I see healers in Frontlines.

The other day I was at a big ice with Battle High and got killed 2 feet away from a WHM in the party who was too busy spamming Stone to heal me. I called them out on it, but course it does no good as all I got was excuses.

Saw this myself yesterday in frontlines... had an AST that straight up spammed malefic 2 while everyone else was being massacred. It was not pretty.

To he honest as a healer main I was equal parts confused/horrified lol

Thats BS. I main whm in pvp and i make a significant difference in the group. I heal the whole alliance as much as my own group. Things i cant or wont heal:

• People going off on their own.
• People out of range. I'm not anyone's pocket healer. I position myself when i can provide the most value. You're not in range ? Tough luck.
• Tanks/DPS charging the enemy team alone like headless chicken. I see that in every single match i do. Tanks being the worst offenders.
• Tanks just soaking damage, alone in the enemy team without accomplishing anything. Im not your pocket heal. You are draining my mp and i'll just focus on saving higher value team players. Better one dead tank than 3 dead dps on my team. Triage!
• People chasing blinbly to the end of the world. Learn to break off and not be lured in traps.
• People focused by 10+ people. Cant do much if you are instanly vaporized.
• And lastly: people with blinders, not looking back and failing to break off because the team already broke off.

BEFORE blaming healers for your death, have you at least stepped back and asked yourself if you simply made a tactical mistake ? Bad position, not with your team, focused by 10+ enemies, out of range, LOSed your healer, lured away, failed to break off in time, etc.

Blaming healers is the easiest cop-out.

I'm pretty sure that, even if they did something to fix this, you'd still have players at the top screaming "NO, DPS MORE, YOU BADDIES" to reinforce this damage-for-all meta they've crafted for themselves.

Yes, I am bitter. I'm bitter about being called out as a healer for not DPSing when the tank is chainpulling until the instance cannot physically let him past. I'm bitter about being votekicked because I had the gall, the sheer audacity to have Tenacity melded instead of crit or DH. This toxic meta worship needs to stop

Tenacity only works for tanks, man.

Yeah this is a major problem.. When I'm a dps in frontlines I notice most healers doing absolutely no healing and it's beyond frustrating. I leveled 60-70 with my white mage and I heavily healed each match. My win rate was almost at 50%. Now that I'm dps my win rate has plummeted to around the average. I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I sometimes wonder if my healing significantly aided in winning or not..

I'm not puting the blame on healer for my death, i've played with enough taliban DPS to know that. But When I am seeing a SCH casting broil while the team is in his range and half HP, this is definitely a problem from the healer. I often end my match with at least 400/500k healing (depend of situation), then I look at the score board to see that the second is doing 1/3 of my healings, but 3x my damages. Also, when you play DPS, it's not uncommon to see the healer that I am killing never stop focusing Ice when I'm at crystal.
