No one can answer this for you OP. You yourself say that you like both classes. Do you like them both equally? Do you prefer one aesthetic over the other?

All three tanks can complete all the content in the game. Unless you're a min/maxer, there's no reason to go PLD just because it got buffed too hard and DRK and WAR got the short end. There's not that much of a difference.

Personally, even with many of our skills gutted, I still prefer DRK. I was PLD main in 2.0, but only because I wanted to tank and I hated the concept of a Great Axe tank. So when DRK came around, it was my dream come true. I just love the aesthetic.

I agree with this, even if classes have issues you never know if you will like it till you try it.
