Healers dont Heal since they can also do damage now.

Dont know if that was a good idea. Before 4.0, Healers did so small amounts of damage that it was obvious to not trying kill something as a Healingjob.(Except for the Knockback on high places ofc^^)

But now i see many, many Healers spamming Broil or theyr other DPS skills while People around them just die. Had a SCH today that did more Damage than Healing and our Party was mostly dead or low HP.

Maybe SE should reconsider this?

I'm pretty sure that, even if they did something to fix this, you'd still have players at the top screaming "NO, DPS MORE, YOU BADDIES" to reinforce this damage-for-all meta they've crafted for themselves.

Tenacity only works for tanks, man.

BAD healers don't heal, or they're still adjusting to the newly increased damage output from trash mobs in 4.0 content. It caught me off-guard when I went in, but I learned to err on the side of caution pretty quickly. Most others did the same, but there are still stragglers out there or people leveling a healer for the first time. You probably had a string of bad luck, which sucks. Don't go around asking for SE to remove healer's DPS capabilities because of a few bad apples though- that's throwing out the barrel because of a few rotten ones.

Died a few time leveling non-Paladin job as a tank to one single trash pull.....

At lease on paladin I can heal 5 time before healer notice he is bad and he should feel bad and then when I play dark knight I just die.......

Bad healers are bad healers. That being said, things have changed a lot in 4.0 and I often see tanks pulling more then they can handle. Or really more then I can handle since I'm expected to keep them alive obviously. I notice a lot of tanks not realizing how much more damage they take now and not really helping with mitigation moves and healers like myself caught off guard by how fast the tanks health drops so suddenly. I still dps but only when I know the tank will be alive while I do it

but i agree with Hestzhyen, don't go and try to ruin the capabilities of all decent players because of a few bad ones. Remember those teachers that would punish the entire class over the actions of one or two students? Yeah, no one likes that

I can't speak for the situation you were in, but just for the experiences that I made.

DPSing as healer is a fun thing to do. It keeps you busy when not much healing is needed.
While I agree I am healer in the first place, I disagree when people say I have to heal the group first no matter what. I refuse to go healbot-spam when:

• Tanks/DPS refuse to dodge
• Tanks don't use their def CDs
• DPS get cleaved, because of bad positioning

While mistakes can happen to everyone and I help out for those, when I see someone doing the same mistake over and over and over again and not reacting to the chat (when I give them a tip to dodge or not stack with the tank or use CDs or whatever), I straight out refuse to heal.

It's not my job to keep them topped at 100% or keep them alive so they can ignore everything and just keep on going with their dps.
