Sure it's my opinion, but I think that it's a good move by SE. Making it so that only special circumstances permit the summoning of great avatars like Ifrit means that those experiences will be great, celebratory events. Those peak experiences are what makes a great game.

IDK how thats better for the summoner class tho. Ifrit is a staple..... I think he is not even near the most powerful avatars....

Now bahumanut and Alex and knights of the relm and others are alll beings that should need a company type quest to get and use. That would make sense. they are Kings of all avatars. Ifrit is not a king. I know in this game he is worshipped but then what happens when the real powerful avatars come in?

Its just killing the class IMO.
