As of 1pm pdt the server is listed as closed to new characters also. But I already stated my point so have a nice day.

1pm PDT would be 9 pm BST / 10 pm CEST, i.e. during EU prime time. Just like all the other servers character creation will sometimes be turned off when a server is too busy - but this is not a permanent state.
Omega is only closed for character creation during peak hours. In the morning hours it is usually open for character creation.

It sucks, but that was your personal decision. There's not one company in the world, that offers ViP service for people that decide, that one day they might or might not want to transfer somewhere. Omega was opened with the early access, you did have enough time prior to your vacation to do the transfer, or ask your friends to wait for you. But since your friends didn't waited, why would SE wait or email you personally to ask if you would like to still transfer, before they are temporary closing the transfer of an overpopulated server. There was a reason they opened that other EU server, to avoid problems we have seen with Balmung and Gilgamesh. You had your chance but decided to ignore it.

I didn't read all the reply's but even without a pc on hand you had no phone? Transfers are handled on the mogstation which i did from my phone.

I mean... if you REALLY cared, you could just make a new character on Omega. :P
Do what I did when I came back to Ultros just before SB early-access started (I was level 28.)

1. Skip all of the dialogue and cutscenes, you've seen them already.
2. Have healer FC friend duo with you unsync'd on all of the dungeons and trials you need to do pre-60.
3. Arrive in SB content after about 4-5 days.

They couldn't give any warning or date on when transfers would close because it depended entirely on how many people transferred/created characters in the first place. They could only lock down when they saw the world was reaching the desired population.

Its sucks man, and whatever the circumstance that caused you to be in your current world without your FC, its done. What to do now is simple, wait until the transfer lock is lifted. Make an alt on Omega for the time being so you can pass the time. Once the time comes, you can consolidate all the things you received on your alt and give them to your main and everything will be hunky dory.

More than 10 days have passed and transfer are still blocked, while character creation isn't (as of today I saw circle icon on Omega for char creation).

And I stay blocked from my FC and friends.

Really even 24 hours notice before the actual block of transfers would suffice.
I don't think its an unreasonable request.

If you instead of complaining had created a new character on Omega as soon as you found out transfers were blocked, you would have been able to reach level 60+ with that character by now - and been able to play with your friends again.
The bonuses for new characters on new worlds make leveling super-quick.

Also i checked his posts twice, and i see nowhere that he mentioned he did go on vacation after omega went live. so at least 2 people in this thread act like total asses for no apparent reason.
