No this just makes things a mess. As it is there is enough nameless generic NPC creep going on in the main cities.Common sense, it's hard.
Rhalgr's Reach is becoming more unplayable with each passing day due to how much lag the instance suffers due to it being literally the only place to go to take care of your endgame vendoring. This could be easily and instantly fixed by adding copies of these vendors to each of the major cities in every region.
If I was designing things, I'd make sure that the only overlapping NPC in all areas was the generic repair NPC, and the generic craftsmith repair NPC would only repair gear of the ilevel sold by him/her. That would mean people would get a clue that they're not the right level for the area when the NPC won't repair their stuff. If you want to repair your own stuff you can still buy the repair materials from them.
See the problem with having all this nameless npc creep everywhere is that it creates a situation where people DO NOT have to leave whatever end-game area they reach. There is a lore reason why Rowena has these shops in exactly one place in each expansion. That is where everyone is at that point in the game storyline. If everyone had to leave these end-game zones to use their retainer, marketboard, or repair gear, these areas would not stay congested.
If your system is lagging, then buy a PS4, or upgrade your CPU/RAM.
Because this community is... [insert expletive here] Which won't support anything unless it's a push to get male bunny glamour or viera.
I'm on Ragnarok it's congested, and it doesn't lag one little bit it runs perfectly at 60fps.

Im all for this actually. If i stop by ul dah for my squad i can just teleport to the market boards area for the gear i can get.

I'm for this for reasons entirely unrelated to lag or lack thereof. Rhalgr's Reach is just a really ugly, really boring city. It looks beautiful in the opening cinematic, but dull as literal dirt in the actual game. If those vendors weren't there, I would never go there, especially not when the other options (aka Kugane, or you know, ANY other place like even the random catfish manor in Yanxia) would be more visually pleasing.

I like this idea. I don't have problems in RR, but I think it would be cool to spread the population out a bit. Especially because noobies would see more activity in their starter towns. There's a decent amount of starter city activity these days, but that's bound to die down some.
Q20: Will we ever be able to send tells from within an instanced area?
A20: While the feature can be implemented, it’s currently masked. It’s currently masked because we would like to prevent players from harassing each other just because they know they would never party together in the future. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully as we move forward.

Never had any issues regarding slow load/lag in RR, even during early access. Time to upgrade your rig?

They like to have their crowded hub I think; always takes forever to TP there but.. oh well... it's not that often...
