With some tweaking by SE, I'm sure that they could make it so that a party gets ported to the same one the leader(or whoever the first member of the party to port in) goes to.
I think that in time it will be better, where the Lochs aren't so congested that people can't get in, but that will only happen after the majority of people who are camping Ixion get the mount. It definitely sucks for those who need in there for story progression, but it might be best to get up early on a day you don't have to go anywhere and get in there as quickly as possible(try logging out right outside the Lochs to make it even faster to get in).
Since the game can handle that properly if you ride or fly into the zone on a dual mount, I have to wonder why it can't use the same mechanism of asking for a choice of zone to direct players correctly when they teleport. I actually complained about this on day 2 of the Early access and someone accused me of trying to circumvent or exploit the game because I wanted to play with my in-game and real life spouse in the same instance without the pain of walking in and out to establish the correct instance. To me it seems like common courtesy for the game to enable parties to play together when moving instance.
How can that be an exploit? I see it as not wanting to spend an additional 3 minutes(depending on load times, and instance congestions) trying to get into the one where your leveling partner/spouse/friends are.Since the game can handle that properly if you ride or fly into the zone on a dual mount, I have to wonder why it can't use the same mechanism of asking for a choice of zone to direct players correctly when they teleport.
