Had the sweetest SCH sprout in the vault yesterday. Was very receptive to feedback, listened to boss strats and somehow managed to keep everyone alive during claribert with an i110 weapon, bless . I was running as a PLD and my clemency hit for 2.5k ish while his physics hit for 1.5k ish. I have no idea what sorcery he pulled to not let a single person drop there but dam, at the end he got my com and I told him where he can buy some lvl appropriate gear from merchants, he thanked me and we went on our way. Then I remembered what cutscene he was about to watch, god speed lil SCH, god speed .

Queue up with a RDM friend and me as the healer, we get temple of the fist, the tank over pull at the 2nd green wall and there's more adds than i can handle (even with precense of mind + cure2 spam and ect..), the other dps was a MCH. We wiped and the tank blame my RDM friend for not using his AOE spell more, then my friend tells him 'Sorry i only have 1 AOE spell', the tank replies 'No you have 3', my friend replies 'No, i have 1 spell and 2 skills that have cooldowns'. It stays like that and after the coeurl boss, he vote my friend out for 'harassment' of all thing.

I havent been there, so i cant judge how the tank did, how you did or how your rdm friend did. But assuming he pointed out the rdm and not the mch, he may have been parsing.

MCHs are known to be in a real bad spot right now, but he mightve done better than your rdm friend (just to give a comparison: Ive done more overall dps on my frickin scholar, whos in a piss poor state right now, than some dps players). The problem is that RDMs are RIDICULOUSLY overpowered and to add to that, are braindead easy to play.
LIKE SERIOUSLY BRAINDEAD EASY.

RDMs have 1 AoE ability/cd (contre sixte), 1 AoE spell which is spammable (Scatter), and 1 skill which is (enchanted) moulinet, which is NOT a CD. But you only wanna use the enchanted version which needs black/white mana.
Spamming Scatter gets you Mana, and theres Manafication which doubles your current Mana. So all in all, you can dish out quite a few enchanted moulinets which add some crazy AoE dps.

Even only spamming Scatter does good dmg, especially because of the "Duality" trait making every second cast an instant cast. So *IF* he really failed to do even that, I may have kicked him too.
But then again, I wasnt there, I dont know all the circumstances.

Ran Deltaspace(?) 2 with my boyfriend today and we got a SCH that was some kind of special. My boyfriend starts a 15 second cooldown. SCH casts Miasma at ~7 seconds and pulls. I had put HoTs on my bf over time so I instantly drew aggro. Bf and I share a are you kidding me moment and I just lay on the floor asking the SCH what happens. He casually tries to tell us hat he had misclicked and tried to cancel even though miasma has a 2.5 second cast time. Come second pull because we wiped, SCH tells my boyfriend to make a 1 min macro because 15 seconds clearly wasn't enough. We give him a 30 second pull and half way through the fight, bf notices he's getting basically no heals besides my HoTs and some instant heals from me. Lo and behold, 15s, 30s or 1 min countdown doesn't matter for the SCH because he didn't even get Selene/Eos up.

If you can't tell the difference between casually mentioning a SO, for reference, once from dropping "my gf" in every.single.post then I don't know what to tell you.

Anyways: Mentioning it once = Noone pays too much attention to it.

Mentioning it in 400/417 posts = People notice and react to it.

Shout outs to the exceptional DPS I got in my 50-60 roulette (Sohr Khai). Qued as Paladin and our healer left as soon as the duty commenced. Still, with Clemency and some fast focused fire from the DPS, we cleared it with no problem. Even the final boss was a breeze, as both Melee used their bloodbaths/Second Winds accordingly. TBH, it furthers laments the idea that healers who don't dps are lacking in contribution :P.

Did the final trial of SB for the first time.
Got completely overwhelmed by everything.
Was so focused on trying to keep people alive I didn't see people yelling at me to use LB3 in my chat until the last moment and we wiped.
Ended up getting yelled at by two people.

We did end up clearing after the fell off the edge and stayed dead for quite a bit of the fight, saying his mouse batteries died, or something at the beginning of our final try. The other healer and I managed to keep everyone else alive for the most part!
Gotta thank the group for sticking together even after blatant screw ups on my end.

So, The Praetorium (Main Scenario Roulette). I warn people with this (since I know it'll be speedran, because it always is at this point): Since it appears there are newbies here, you can choose between watching cutscenes or participating in the fights due to how groups rush it. Should you choose to participate in the fights, please note that you can watch any missed cutscenes at the innroom.

I also mention they can use the Escape button to skip cutscenes. I then get told: "I like your attitude and the fact you're helping other players, Nomfur. You're getting my comm for that." - that took ME aback. I'm a registered mentor (though crown wasn't up at this point). I'm also explaining to them the mechanics. Making them aware of important things, etc. Apparently it's a rare thing to see this happening. I thought it was just the right thing to do, mentor or not... I'm there, this random supportive red mage, in a see of apparent no helping people... At the end of the dungeon, I bid them farewell and to enjoy the story. I then leave the duty...

I tend to go in with the mindset of if someone wants it explained, they will ask and I will explain it(had Mentor before SB came out and Zurvan EX was added to the requirements...still need to clear that). Otherwise, I will let them do their thing, and if we wipe THEN I will say something first if need be. Which is usually in main scenario rou when we get CM since a LOT of people(especially the tanks/melee) forget about the key cards that drop from the two bosses(I've only been RDM recently on those runs, so I'm typically close to the doors we need to go through after).
