    Agreed. Dark Knights are lacking that certain something that makes them stand out on their own, that strength that they do have over Paladins. It's just not there currently and Paladin is better in every single way. Even just passively the Paladin is better what with at least having a chance to block magical attacks, and that's without them using abilities to make it guaranteed

    I really like the second and especially the third option with these. That would be a pretty great tank ability to have

    Played DRK in the first time in a while, and dear god it doesn't feel right. I can just spam my DPS combo with DA to keep aggro, there's no MP management whatsoever, I can no longer keep 2 defensive CD up in a constant rotation with no downtime between CDs...dear god it's gotten a massive drop in skillful play required! I don't like it, I don't like it a bit, feels like the magic has been taken away from the class. :/

    ill say this: if you are saying you think the job is dead and say MP management went out the window, you are 99% of the time producing terrible damage. When Im going on full Boss rotations im constantly hunting for my MP back. DA'ing Soul-eater, Carve and split, Bloodspiller, syphon strike (more damage) all these can and should be used with DA if you have the mp for it (and plan ahead for TB's). I CONSTANTLY see people sitting in Grit just DA'ing Souleater over and over and saying its a boring job with no mp management.

    My god a thousand times this. This until patch 99.9999.

    Also even if mana management were completely dead, the job needs a number of tweaks, fixes, and straight up buffs before we start talking about personal preference nonsense like this...

    The way is it today is good for newcomers and is good for more advanced players.

    Since you need a lot of DA, MP management have to be well calculated, or your DPS you drop very hard.

    DRK need some adjustments and Dark Side is not one of them.

    You sir are awesome. This is exactly how it is in boss fights. I wish people who had all this mp they didn't know what to do with would give it to me >.> I have to always keep 25% of my mana on standby just for TBN to stop tank busters and big damage hits. Of course if you plan it right you can weave your skills together nicely to always be getting mana back in time for big hits.
