That's because those two races have very distinctive features easy to set apart at a simple glance. An elezen face has basically all normal human features excluding the ears.
Youre most likely being unconsciously biased, specially by comparing your own character's face with other Elezens and since you don't really seem to care too much about the other two races not really paying too much attention to them. Not to blame, mind you.
