Honestly, I'm just glad i'm not anime waifu #1000000. The reason I play one comes from after being the blandest hyur in existence and seeing so many current copies of my hyur. It killed any interest I ever had in Hyurs because they quite frankly almost all look like NPCS. I'm Elezen because I think they look great. Sure, I do wish we could get the concept art Elezen but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I think people go out of their way to bash things because they have the sense that every character needs to be a walking waifu. I personally don't enjoy that aspect and go for the more elegant look.

That being said... I wouldn't be mad if we got the concept Elezen or a way to make a half hyur/elezen. I'd play it just to get away from the same bland jokes people use on the internet.

I'm genuinely surprised you even saw another Hyur. I rarely see other Hyurs aside from the occasional Warrior of Light remakes, and I see other Highlanders even less.

I love my Elezen, I will never change it nor do I have a desire to. Yes, the neck annoys me a little but it's part of the identity, and I want Square to keep it that way.

In all honesty, I never really noticed the necks. People's perceptions of beauty astound me.

It's just easy to spot and sticks out on the most when being on pre-50 gear, really.

Why would I find something embarrassing that I think is perfectly fine?

What is embarrassing is thinking your opinion holds enough sway over others that we have to defend ourselves from your opinion.

I started as a female miqo'te and I think honestly deep down I will always be one. I go back to it every now and again. But with that being said I love my elezen. It's the only race ive been able to play more than three months without fantasing after a few weeks or so. Do I wish we could get adjustments? YEP. A new run animation cause God oh mighty its awful. Smaller hands, less broader shoulders. a shorter neck. But all in all I am very happy with my elezen <3
