And I never said that I felt that you were saying I was race bashing. I specifically said that the OP wasnt race bashing, nor is this thread race bashing.
It's just people giving their feedback and you seem to have problems with that.

As for the general topic on proportions: I just refuse to believe that female elezen were meant to look this weird because male elezen are perfectly fine. they do NOT have heads that are too small or shoulders that are too broad.
They look PERFECTLY FINE. Why would the females be an exception to that. It was already mentioned before that they did a poor job on some of the faces too. Who is say that their proportions werent messed up too?

Elezen's are the most beautiful race ever, but alas- I prefer midlander when it comes to glamour.
I dislike the proportions elezen's are given with gear and animations can look a bit odd. I main ninja and all I can see are flailing arms whenever I use spinning slash and it's generally a huge turn off for playing as the race.

I was originally an elezen but after 2 years i had enough of their running animation and the god awful neck look on outfits with no collar.

Sorry, disagree. People only say this because they expect men to have broad shoulders, and women to have narrow. Male elezen also have "tiny heads" so I'm not sure where everyone is getting the idea that male elezen are ~perfectly proportioned~ from.

Personally don't think there's anything wrong with the way Elezens look. I may make jokes from time to time about how they look like a stretched out alien, but I don't dislike them. It's like how Lalafells are obviously half potato, half midget... they look fine for what they are.

That being said Elezen are not my cup of tea, especially not male Elezen. I much prefer the much sexier Highlander.

I often look at it and think they're some kind of bastard child, specially when I take into consideration all the highlander npcs in the game that are actually just midlanders labeled differently.

Except them looking 'weird' to you is completely subjective, they look absolutely fine to me, and based on some of the responses in this thread, to others. I can sit here and give my opinion that Au Ra look weird, and have the exact same merit. I don't like Au Ra, so I won't play one. I'm not gonna go argue in a thread saying Au Ra should be changed in X manner to fit my tastes. There is absolutely no way that this argument can resolve because it's entirely based on opinion and personal taste.
I like my elezen, I like how she looks, I do not want her changed. If they wish to add more options such as faces and the like? By all means, but do not change the core of the race.

With the right camera angle, you can see holes or gaps on elezens' forehead to their hair. I don't think this add proportion was intended. Only steroid using body-builders have this kind of body
