Not rude and not hostile, but it does come across as a command. When I give advice I tend to frame it in "if you do x....then y will happen" format, e.g. "btw (name), if you put up Regen and Medica II the heals tick over time while you're casting, and they help both with healing and saving your mp. "

In that way you are providing info and a choice and they can make use of it or not.

If they still leave, then yeah, they can't take any form of performance feedback.

I've been finding a lot of Paladins and Red Mages who apparently prefer healing than anything else.
I don't like to overheal so I wait until the tank's HP is around 70% to cast a heal. If I have regen on and my party members are at about 90-95% I won't cast a heal if it's not a boss fight. That's what the regen is for.
I hate it when stuff takes longer to die because my tank and my dps prefer to heal than do shit.

Healer didn't know how to switch off walking. So he WALKED with sasuno's mark to the other side. He WALKED throughout the fight (and wiped all the party, ofc).
After a wipe we said him how to "fix" that. Didn't help. Disband.

did lvling roulette yesterday on my brd with my friend who was tanking and ended up in sohm al normal.

Had a leafy whm healer who struggled with the big pulls. she kept us alive but her mp was drained a lot from merely spamming Cure II and nothing else.

So i thought id give her a piece of advice to help.

I dropped 2-3 lines and immediately after she took penalty and left the dungeon...the other random dps followed her and left too.

It's more likely they didn't like the way the pulls were being done. They likely had no time to cast regen because of how much damage the Tank was taking. I don't think your advice was actually seen if they left that quickly.

That said, that's bad advice anyway. You don't use Medica II on trash, because that makes the tank unable to hold enmity. Especially on a big pull.

I uh..... huh? I literally just got done leveling WAR with my friends WHM, who uses Medica II. I had zero threat issues from it.

Lol. Anyone who thinks you use Medica II during trash pulls as a WHM must not play much WHM. The only time I use Medica II during trash pulls is if the trash has unavoidable aoe (ex. Dragons in Snowcloak) and even then it depends on my party.

Medica II is generally a waste of MP and a GCD. In Sohm Al the WHM should have been using Regen and Asylum. Not Medica II. Not only that, if she was new why was the tank doing big pulls? That's incredibly inconsiderate. Even as a fairly experienced WHM I hate the big pulls there.

Levelling/Gearing up my DRK in Bardam's. Most runs were uneventful, I healed it when I was running through the MSQ and just emulated the tanks I liked. But there was one run with this BRD. I have no idea what his deal was. He constantly attack a different mob. And he was doing it on purpose too because I'd switch to his target and he'd attack another mob. And that's on top of running around like a spaz. I guess he was excited to not have cast bars, but tone it down. And he got hit by every confusion at the end.
