I'm a bad tank

I stopped playing my level 60 Warrior because having to listen to people trying to micromanage exactly how I tanked all the time was just too annoying. I switched pretty much exclusively to DPS classes, just because they're so much more relaxing to play in groups.

As someone who has only played Warrior, one thing that has always bugged me and still does, is how I have never been inside of a dungeon with a bad tank. Since I've always been the tank. So I don't know how good or bad I am!

No one's ever complained, tho...

Lol same everyday dungeons I never heard anything about my tanking is bad.i got done with stormblood and no one said a thing.
I like people to tell me what I can improve at but you don't really have to be nasty with it. I guess that's my real point lol

Find an FCbie or friend who plays tanks play with you, and deliberately ask if anything could be improved right BEFORE the final boss. Thats about the only two ways of getting general notes on how to improve your tanking.

You know what? Not everyone hits level 60 or 70 and immediately knows everything about their job. Some people have a harder time then others, ESPECIALLY if this is their first MMO. If you can tell people are having trouble with their class, it doesn't help one bit to lash out and tell them they are bad. Especially because it doesn't take much to recognize what they are doing wrong and give them tips on how they might improve.

I wouldn't say it amazes me, but there does seem to be a subset of people who play social games that, for whatever reason, go out of their way to be as antisocial as possible.

In my experience, this attitude is very common among the dps role; I have never seen this with healers or tanks. Idk why some of these people have such a short fuse, maybe had a bad day at work and want to just blow up on the next poor sap they see. Unfortunately, you will see this a lot and it's just something you have to deal with in the beginning.
