Anyone else experience dreadfulness from players who just used a level boost potion?

I don't know... Most of the time, I still don't see any difference between someone who jumped to 60 and someone who just rushed there. Or someone who started at, say, 50, and couldn't take 5 minutes to read through all their skill tooltips, traits, and figure out how their abilities work or which skills string together.

Please, SE. Starting us at 30 was a bad idea. Starting us at 50 is an even worse idea. Please just make us start at level 1 so we all have to put some actual effort into playing a job before we can start on dungeons.

Anyway, Leveling Roulette as SCH. Dusk Vigil. Tank was a PLD, wearing a crafting belt, slaying earrings, and a casting ring. They had 8.5k HP as opposed to my 6k+. By the end of the dungeon, I just wanted to curl up and cry.

The DRK, AST, and the Ninja are now dead. The BRD will now tank the giant pull around the room until either he dies or the Tank shows up and gives it another go... rinse and repeat.

I have no idea what the Tank was doing wrong, but I spent half my time trying to pull aggro off the mobs that were jumping from the tank to the healer. The healer was too busy healing to be DPSing much. Never had a run in Stone Vigil that was so weird.

Please just make us start at level 1 so we all have to put some actual effort into playing a job before we can start on dungeons.

Thats not the reason why people suck, the reason they suck is because they are not willing to learn, starting classes at level 1 won't change anything, just take a look at the bad dragoons, summoners, black mages and so on until you have covered all the jobs that start at 1. If you are not willing to put any effort, then you will end up as Timmy the Icemage or Johnny the Deadmage, starting level doesn't matter.

Screw that. If you were reduce the level where new jobs start, at least make it 15 so they can queue Sastasha and start learning to use their new job as a team.

Joined what I thought was a Pool of Tribute (Extreme) clear PF, since I've seen to enrage so many times I'm about to lose my mind.
Get in there, and I'm told it's for Lakshmi. But the trial listed is Susano's trial.... and I'm the one who "didn't read the PF." ._.

I would like to remind actual healers that it is your job to heal, not RDMs. I just suffered through a shisui run with a WHM who got really excited about spamming holy, and would neglect her actual job, forcing me to pick up the slack. I decided to let the tank die to let that reality hit her.

Worked out great. She raised the tank, got aggro, and died. I healed the tank back up and dropped aggro before i met the same end, and kept the tank alive long enough for the BRD to finish the adds off. (i didn't have verraise yet, so i couldn't have done any raising). Then she said "i guess i probably shouldn't have been so overzealous with the holy spam..."

Didn't have a problem for the rest of the run

queue Sastasha and start learning to use their new job as a team.

A better place to do that would be in guildhests, which start at level 10. The first thing I did, upon unlocking the HW jobs, was to run through all the guildhests from 10 to 30. But I'm sure most people don't even remember those exist.

I had something similar happen for WT recently. Joined a Ramuh EX clear, party leader thought he had Levi EX listed. Tried to pull the "Didn't you read?" when he queued for Levi and someone mentioned the PF said Ramuh. It was 7v1 though. Guy ended up not queuing a second time and disbanded.

Joined a Royal Menagerie clear, because I like to help out sometimes. I asked my WAR frand to come fill out the group, and he says np. Party leader queues us up, and we're in Susano EX. I said, 'PF said Royal Menagerie, but whatever - I'm fine.' We one-shot it, then I leave. The party leader kept the instance the same, but changed the description to farm. Royal Menagerie farm.

Wanted to help a friend get the clear on lakshmi extreme so we joined a PF for it, both as DPS.

Once i got in the group i switched to tank to do my daily hunts. Another tank join, fine, nothing special obviously. Then the "real" second tank join the PF, see that we are already 2 tank, mention it and leave... The guy didnt even see that i was level 60...

I switch back to bard, the leader make PF again, i switch back to tank to continue my hunts and believe it or not, the SAME THING HAPPENS...

But it doesn't stop there. Later, we join yet another group because we didnt get the clear yet. I do the same, join as bard then switch to tank and go do whatever.

We're quickly full and someone does a ready check before we start and this time it seems we are 5 dps and one tank...

Someone mention that i'm the supposed second tank wich i answer that IM NOT since i'm just lvl60 and was doing something else on my tank but they keep insisting that i'm the one at fault for switching job or whatever. I politely told them that i'm not in the wrong and they are blind, the answer was a kick from the team.

LOL i hope they kept wiping seriously...
