It's a good reward since it has limit per day and rewards people who sacrifice and protect for others (the role of a tank is to sacrifice and protect).

Actually you can get the Adventurer in Need reward as many times per day as you wish. The bonus that's locked to the daily timer is the Tomestones.
I wish it was exp potion....
This is going to hurt Hunts tho..
but on the bright side... Materia 6 price will drop like no tomorrow.
it's adventurer in need bonus.. that means I can run it as a tank 100 times a day and farm 100 cluster.

I doubt you can do 100 dungeons a day. If you need clusters, just hunt, you can probably do 3-4 A ranks in a time it takes one dungeon, and all new hunts drop VI materia.
XP potion would be worse than the xp boost that is currently given to advetnurer's in need, or is it just gil. At least Tier VI materia has a longevity to it that can be used past having all jobs at 70.
However, I do think a better idea would be incorporating a token which could be exchanged for a list of items. Like say 1=1 for Tier VI materia, maybe certain materials that drop off mobs could have a 1=50 ratio and maybe, just maybe 5 tokens for 1 tier VI DOL/DOH materia lol.

You get more from hunts, esp with the 3 instances, so it doesn't matter, also 24x60/20 (queue/enter level this is generous, it is not happening to keep doing them in 20 mins) so if you literally do 24/7 max your getting is 72 clusters, your claim is not possible.
0 quality HQ is possible

role in need rewards are not limited to once each day like the normal roulette reward. You get it everytime you do roulette as the role in need.
When the tank knows what they're doing and the healer is competent, the role of a tank is just to hold aggro and in doing so protect the team. the sacrifice doesn't really happen (unless you're doing speed runs of praetorium sometimes) if you die its becuase you or the healer screwed up. or maybe it was that dps bringing aoe onto you.
I'll add that in high end content the dps is every bit as important, unless you enjoy hitting enrage a lot.
