Yup. This game cockblocks literally everything with the msq. I'd get used to it now if I were you because you won't even be able to buy a SB story skip potion until next expac.

they not hard, they did trim the fat on what the quests used to be. If you feel you can't, jump potion or level up potion is also avail.

just because it's 100 quests, doesn't mean each quests is an hours long 20 quests happen with in an hr. the on,ly road block is final steps of faith.

If they are given the time and resources to pull it off, I would like to see relevant NPC and cutscenes between levels 30 and 50 moved to locations outside the gates of Ishgard while removing access to Isghard as a requirement to unlock the Heavensward jobs.

The Ishgardians don't open their gate for everyone. You should know it after doing the Coerthas quests around level 35.
During the story after 2.3 (I think) the trust between the WoL and Ishgard increase.

not really, the quest line was much worst. you had to do 2 low level guildhests right out the gate.

I know it sucks if your going for a specific job, but knowing that AST/DRK/MCH are blocked just enjoy the story until you get there. This is a FF game after all. Think of it as a Netflix show that you get to binge on. Once you catch up you'll run into the realization that you have to wait for the next episode.

I don't know about you, but I'm not going to wait until I'm 70 before I think about pensions. If I'd have a child, I'd already think about how to finance their future education while they're still in the womb. And before you start studying, you might want to consider what kind of job you actually want to do at the end and work towards that.

But then again, you're right - that'd imply the devs had foresight and judging by the recent shift to i270 STR accs, you really can't accuse them of having foresight.
