    Eh, people worry too much.

    Pre-Job introductions: Everyone bitches about ARC getting BRD.

    Post-Job introductions: People complain about how OP BRD is.

    Bards will have to play all songs on a harp peripheral (sold separately). Otherwise, it might ruin immersion (gasp!).

    Was this officially announced or heavily implied somewhere? I, for one, would love to be a Bard but I don't want to get too excited.if this is just an unsubstantiated fan rumor.

    Not sure what archer has to do with bard I guess...but I'm excited nonetheless. I loved bard in ffxi...FINALLY! I guess maybe the -enmity abilities...other than that I'll have all bard and healing spells on my bar.

    Although there's been no official "Archer will get Bard." statement, I think it's safe to say considering the jobs being released:

    White Mage/Black Mage (CNJ/THM)
    Warrior (Marauder)
    Dragoon (Lancer)
    Monk (Pugilist)
    Paladin (Gladiator)
    Bard (...... Archer!!!)

    Not to mention, if you haven't noticed post-1.19, ARC has one hell of an MP pool now.

    Yoshida actually did state it a few times in different interviews. The links are scattered through the forums though as it was old news anyway.
