The problem is, if that happened, I know I'm very likely to boost at least my Fisher via it. I've managed to avoid it [the potions] so far, even on my alt, but if you look at my character stats, my Fisher is sorely lacking compared to the others...
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
I don't see the problem. There are people with multiple level 70's who have been here since at least 2.0, and still aren't that good at those jobs. Then, you have a few sprouts that can actually do their job to pass high level content. Sure, the opposite of both is true, too, more often than not, but taking a character to even 60 is at least a solid chunk of time that some don't have.
I would like to boost a few classes myself, as I don't have much time for the grind (nor do I have the sanity to do what I did with my Whm again, which was grind PotD from lvl 34 to 60 with my 2 week Stormblood Launch vacation). I work 12hrs a day, and that doesn't take into account normal life stuff that needs to be done, so my time is precious. Even if it is a max of 3 classes it would be better, that way new people can at least try one of each role to see what they like here, and old timers can get those classes they don't have the time for (or really don't want the level slog).
How do you know those people used a jump potion?Maybe because its a MMO thus it also impacts the rest too? I had a handful of potion users in an instance and trials and all of them were simply bad at their job. The healer in the last story trial, that jumped, was one of the biggest reason that we did not manage to beat it. I am not even sure if that healer had swiftcast..I was rezzing as a summoner the whole time..So if people jump and take their time to learn their job before they go into group content, then it would be fine with me...but if those people jump and go into content without a plan of what to truly do..well then this will be on the back of the rest of the team.
as an astrologian you see such things
it also lays in your hand to tell people what it means to "enjoy a game" since there is no variety in this
tbh im still waiting for these "wipe-causing" people - that everybody seems to talk aboutit's not like they are just bad players in particular (and if - its surely one of those "jump-potions" users)

Oh I dunno, maybe because when you actually lvl your job manually you actually learn to play it. Not like all those carpet dps and tank/heal dps that let us die because the sooner won't use tank stance and the later won't heal.where exactly is your problem? everyone should decide that for themselves wether they should buy a jump potion or not
there are people not enjoying farming POTD all the day long, you know?
i actually like it lvling and getting my jobs one by one to 70, and thats why i won't buy a jump potion - but there are other people with other opinions
everyone should decide for themselves how they'd like to enjoy the game.
i truly can't understand some peoples attidute nowadays on the forums
Lol. Could be them thats the problem though. Like last night in Doma Castle tank would go from 100% to like 5HP in an instant. It was crazy. Second wipe he started moaning at me "I play AST so IDK wtf your doing wrong." Made me feel really bad. I was pulling out everything I couldas an astrologian you see such things

Ran it again this morning, nothing was different, same sect etc. But was able to heal the summoners pet and do DPS. 0 wipes. So who was really the cause of the wiping last night I wonder?
No. My Partner is crazy fast leveller. He had a leaf in stormblood - no jump potion. I used jump pot to get an AST, didn't gain a leaf :P (just the AST job :P)

Interesting because I've leveled 5 alts and their new leafs were removed pretty early on in Heavensward. Thank you though because i was making that assumption.
If the DoW and DoM boosts sell, then SE will sell DoL and DoH, this I can promise you. Leveling Fisher can be boring, but I did find leveling one alot easier and faster then leveling Botanist or Miner. My advice is to check the guides online ( I want to link one, but not sure if its allowed) and buy gathering food, GC gathering buffs and just fish. I leveled my fisher from 30-50 in one day and a friend of mine leveled his Fisher from 1-50 in 1 day and 50-60 in day aswell.
PS: I noticed that you are leveling your crafting classes which are above level 50, but your gathering are still under level 35. If you want to save alot of money, I advice to level the DoL classes aswell. The mats needed for level 50+ requires alot of mats. You can buy this if you have alot of gil, but I reckon you want to save as much gil as you can and instead make profits.
