I certainly hope it's a tank. We need a balance from the sudden influx of DPS.

I still can't believe SE didn't consider the idea that PLD and DRK were both popular for being the ONLY sword wielders, and because they were tanks... >-<

If the only pull behind tanking is getting to use a sword, tanking needs to be done better in game. Besides, making every tank a sword wielder makes them all samey. 2/3 of our tanks are sword based and 3/3 are slashing based. Hammer tank would be nice.

Looks like Gunblade would be a tank job, seeing as Gaius, Nero, and Fordola were all tank type characters. We're good on DPS for an expansion or two

Wow, i made this post years ago. lol, nice to see that the gunblade love is still there. I wouldn't mind if we had a gunblade tank, would work either way for me. Just as long as it's implemented in 5.0 or something then i'm happy.
