    I just got off of live chat with customer support and they put stormblood CE on my account, and I just need to contact them once I receive my actual copy so I can give them the key to deactivate,

    I confirmed with the guy that they are trying to do their best for people that are stuck in customs, and that I could direct all of you to reach out to support in regards to this!

    I'm now in stormblood having fun!

    I did also reached out to Square-Enix.
    They said there's nothing they can do except re-ship the package when it is returned to them...

    We are just not being helped at all.

    After having zero info from them and today one guy saying it was my countrys postal service to provide me with a new tracking number i'm going with a refund from them, no doubt it will take some time but if they won't give me what i paid for they shouldn't have taken my money.

    Yeah I'd also be getting a refund if I would have known this fiasco would reproduce itself once more and just bought the items separately from eBay.
    However, at this point, it's just a matter of getting the damn things. And due to SE's borderline supervillain plan of holding out the monopoly on the Collector's Edition, we're at the mercy of their every whims.
    For all I know they could have shipped a package of nothing with blatant invalid shipping labels to force customs to return the contents, so they could manage their warehouse stocks for non-pre-orders - like who know? I don't. All I know if I payed for something have haven't received it as promised.
    My GF still can't play with me in SB. My GF will won't be playing with me EVEN AFTER THE GAME GETS HERE (*if ever) as she will need to grind the MSQ/gear to reach where I got with 2 over weeks of playtime. Her sub is literally trash and she isn't playing due to the very large disappointment she has of the game. This is the same thing that happened with Heavensward. It's likely the reason she didn't play it as much as ARR. The sheer disappointment of this situation sucks up all the willingness to play the game. It sucks up her willingness to buy/play any games, especially other SE games.

    Yep. Just a canned answer over email. With no apologies. Nothing. Just a "we'll ship it back to you when we receive it back to us". Which doesn't answer anything. IT DOESN'T EVEN ANSWER ANYTHING? WTF.

    I am, so ... disappointed. I do not have a word in my vocabulary to explain the depth of my disappointment, my disillusionment towards something I *was* a fan of but am constantly at every opportunity being let down at each and every interaction with the company. It's just another reflection of the terrible apathy of humanity towards others. It's just... so draining and bleak.

    Everybody that has done it has gotten the game put on, I'm guessing maybe you are reaching SE store instead of the ff14 side.

    And Hey at least you got an email response, I still havent gotten one for when i sent it lol

    Just gives us reference numbers after reference numbers.
    Perhaps they closed chat?

    EDIT: Only a really long wait. After 1.5 hours, got someone on Chat (and in tandem over phone - watch out it's not free, use VoIP like I did) and yeah you're right, got a temp code while we wait for the physical item.

    So finally after 2 weeks my tracking resumed and got updated. My item has cleared customs and Canada post is indicating that I should receive it tomorrow!

    Feww! I was really worried that I would never get it.
