You can make this argument about every job and various stats OP since the beginning of 2.0. No. Nope. Deal with the bad stat roles like every other job does when the gear is bad for them.

I have bad Twitter skills apparently since confusion can be generated when I try 140 chars or less, I mean as some people pointed out spell speed is a dead stat for RDM only; not talking about other classes. Precedent has been set with SE's accommodation of Ninjas, perhaps the same can be done with RDM.
BruhSadly, telling people who want to push to the max and get the most out of their min maxing theorycrafting hoeymaloeey to get those big waffle dps numbers never ends well. You may as well ask them not to breathe, asking those type of people to simply enjoy a game is of the highest blasphemy :P
Minmaxing is how they enjoy this game lol
At the very least Grade VI materia can make up a *ton* of the slack for gear right now.

I don't really think it matters in the long run, we still have the capped tomestone incoming, as well as the Savage version of the gear. This gear does not live long enough to matter.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥

No worriesSuch is the internet, unless you inject emoticons everywhere, you never know what my tone might be OwO :3
Everyone needs an internet hug every now and then.
So I take it RDM will want Crit and Direct Hit then? Considering dropping BLM since mobility seems to be more valuable. BLM just isn't rewarding anymore.
Seeing threads like this makes you wonder if people actually understand stats and their jobs
Doesn't spell speed also marginally reduce the GCD
