I solo healed the double prey targets and helped with tank heals at the same time on that mechanic on A1S as sch, that's nothing new. If a sch can't do that they need better understanding of how their class is supposed to respond to things and memorize fightsThat's not really powerful, it's only a convenient precast. Delay make precast somewhat hasardous, but excog is instant more reliable.
A situation where it would really shine would something lik A1S missiles mechanic where two different player are targeted by multiple instance of damage until they die. Excog would allow one player to burst heal two target at the same time, and that's something new.
Creator savage was a theme park ride. Of course Eos could heal 30% of it alone. It was a joke. Eos shined because Cleric Stance was in the game. SCH had best Cleric Stance sustain. Now that every healing can heal and DPS within a GCD with no penalty? Eos is nowhere near as powerful as she was. Nerfs were unneeded.whatever makes you feel better... eos was one of a kind if you don't realize that you maybe just haven't used her right... and the only thing sch was healing in Alex was in some minor situation to keep up with the main healer after unavoidable aoe dmg or tankbusters. please don't try to get in a fight with me about eos... you would lose – I played Sch in creator as well and know what eos was capable of – schs main task was dpsing while being ready for an emergency – and the fact that schs can't do that anymore is the reason why so many are complaining bout the dot & fairy nerfs. truth is hurting I know : /
So SE decided to give classes some love to actions they deemed absolutely necessary. That's why they turned a Nin move from 550 potency to 600. Because obviously, with all the issues with WAR and SCH in particular, that was the first action and only action that they really seemed absolutely necessary to change quickly. Well alright then.

Kinda makes you want to choke someone, right? well, it makes me want to choke someone. So SE decided to give classes some love to actions they deemed absolutely necessary. Jeez, is it possible to say something without someone coming out of nowhere saying "look how good I am, learn to play lol".
The fact that you can do it is fine, whatever, good for your team. But having possible 600 potency heals on two different target at the same time is a new possibility, and that situation in specific makes that skill interesting. If you had excog during that fight, that would certainly have been the best moment to use it.
Well, you can always eat the fairy for 3 more stacks of aetheflow every 3 minutes (which, averages out to 4 aetherflow a minute, a little more if you factor in the new passive for aetherflow). Eos tastes like Butterscotch.
But overall, your assessment isn't without merit. Scholar has never been this weak in this game. AST and WHM got alot of buffs in the expansion, scholar received 13 nerfs, lost 7 buttons, and gained one marginal buff. Oh, and we got a completely random, out-of-the-blue dps skill, Chain Strategem. like they couldn't actually think of anything to help us with our primary job, so they tried to distract us with something off the wall. Now, if that was a crit buff that I could put on a player to crit-heal them, great. but a dps skill? after they neuter our dps to less than half of what it used to be? really? thats a joke, right?

I probably wouldnt have used it in that scenario due to how reactionary that mechanic was to do solo post set up with lustrate snipes between adlos. It does make tank busters less scary thoughJeez, is it possible to say something without someone coming out of nowhere saying "look how good I am, learn to play lol".

I'm guessing most of you didn't play sch in the transition from 2.55 to 3.0. The exact same thing happened with fairy scaling. Yes, embrace had a little potency nerf, but the weakness of it right now has more to do with changes in Stat scaling and how op it felt when you were over geared.
Tl;Dr This has all happened before and works itself out with gear.
Yes, there are other issues with sch, but the fairy complaints are all coming from people that don't remember 3.0 or weren't playing.
