And what if you got duplicate class combos like say... 2x RDM, 2x SAM, 2x BRD? That is why duplicate drops can occur. Not to mention the guaranteed auto-drop was only added on top of the existing system.

And while that is a possibility, it's also a rarity. Can also modify this from happening by better refining the duty finder system to lessen the likelihood of having duplicate jobs/classes in a duty.

But what about those that form their own parties and don't use the Duty Finder matching system?

Thems the breaks. Duplicate item drops are garbage. There are PLENTY of other items to be had, let another drop.

However I would restrict this restriction from raids, as you said, there's more of a chance for duplicate classes/jobs. But four man dungeons, there's no excuse. =P
