I understand most people don't have all specialists. As for stats requirements, they'll always be easier to reach on specialists than non-specialists. Non-specialist rotations will generally have higher stat requirements or/& be more time consuming.
Everyone plays differently & however people want to play, great e.g.
- There will be some that will completely ignore anything to do with specialists in order to have a more universal selection of rotations/macros instead of dealing with both specialist/non-specialist rotations/macros. Doing it this way is clean & simple though it can easily limit you in what you can/can't do whether it be through stat requirements, time efficiency(e.g. if you craft a lot it makes a lot of difference) or QOL benefits such as having 1 button macros where non-specialist rotations might fall behind on. I'm close to having a 1 button specialist required macro for lvl 70 crafts (not the above macro).
- Some crafts might require specialist again & so a specialist rotation makes sense although not required. This craft doesn't of course but incorporating both specialist/non-specialist rotations do have their benefits & having that choice is nice in the same way having the choice to use this rotation or look for a non-specialist alternative is another.
We can change specialist up to 3 times a week. In a way it's easier now to change between specialists as it used to only be possible to get 1 Soul a week. At the same time though for those that might have stockpiled or would of in order to use them for future patches, it is a hindrance if you planned on switching 4 or more times within a week.
If this rotation helps anyone then great, if not then sorry & I'm sure you can find e.g. a non-specialist alternative somewhere. Pretty sure I've seen 1 on reddit or maybe even these forums.

I have a question, would it be ok to substitute Byregot's Blessing (from carpenter lvl 50) over Byregot's Brow? Or does the macro rely on the specialist bonus for Brow (100% success chance)? And if its a matter of success chance, if one had a surplus of CP to cover a steady hand, could that be added to second macro right before great strides?

it's impressive how can do a liv 70 HQ with only 399 CP that's it's relatively easy to get atm.
good job
Short answer: YES. If you have the cp then you can go with Byregot's Blessing & add that steady hand before Great strides.I have a question, would it be ok to substitute Byregot's Blessing (from carpenter lvl 50) over Byregot's Brow? Assuming 955 control (Required for the rotation)
Rotation with Brow : 594+674+757+843+930+1020+1113 + 7269 = 13200 Quality
Rotation with Blessing: 594+674+757+843+930+1020+1113 + 8723 = 14654 Quality
Reason I didn't use Blessing is to reduce CP cost of the rotation. Also adding a steady hand makes the macro longer.
I'll try this macro and i admit that's it's wonderful
for a lazy crafter like me, 100% HQ from NQ with no effort it's great
ty for the job man ...!
Thanks alot, glad you like it ^^
I give it about a 75% chance Prudent Touch gets nerfed CP cost...it is *too* good unless they plan on making higher level crafts really difficult. So, enjoy while it lasts... ( I hope I'm wrong and they actually do want to make higher crafts much more difficult)
