It made a 2k queue 30 minutes. Before they started doing this a 2k queue was about 2.5 hours.
Been a problem since HW, they aren't looking for a solution. This is a band-aid fix until SB hype dies down and they can brush their shitty server issues under the rug once again.
To be honest: Even if I consider it annoying aswell, I can understand and almost sympathises with that stance.
They know its a short-time, hype-issue that will resolve itself. From a buisness-perspective it might not seem a good investment to increase the server capacity when most of that capacity will be not used/required for most of the time. Which, after all, seems to be the case, considering we normally dont see those problems.
I mean, it would be very nice if the dev-team/the game got more funding than it currently does and I understand that a lot of people are right now really mad about this - but if its a long-term waste of money I can understand them deciding against it and rather using those fundings elsewhere.
I dont really want to defend them here because the situation is indeed most unfortunate, but at the same time... I dont know, if you're having a lot of people over you're most likely not going to buy a dozen extra chairs that you'd be left with in the end and that you'll never need again. You either improvise or borrow some - not sure if renting server-space for the game would be an option, but right not... its improvising.
I don't mind doing the log out if it helps...but not sure why its still on Omega if its not congested >.> also the que after is always long i waited half an hour yesterday to give people time to log back, i was hit with 2000 world full.
Then i got a DC and had to wait another hour lol.
It's definitely annoying (I got booted out of my 50/60 Roulette today).
Yeah, there was a 2000+ queue waiting for me when the servers came back up, but it sailed by in less than 10 minutes. I'll take that over those horrid 2-3 hour queues we were getting prior to this.
