jobs ARE NOT classes
they arent meant to be leveled seperate from classes
your class can become a job(thus specializing in a certain area) so you dont really need them to be seperate leveling entities.
so at 30 youll earn your job, and you can either be a well rounded marauder, or a warrior(which will be dps or tank, we will see) and specialize in that speicifcaly, thus sacrificing the other end and not being able to attach a miriad of abilities from other classes.

That is the case, jobs should start at level 30 no matter how high your main class for the job is. should have to grind the 5 levels to do the quest to unlock that next skill.jobs ARE NOT classes

But jobs....aren't....classes....
They aren't a separate entity from the base class they branch from and therefore there is no reason to have them level on their own.
This isn't like the XI job system. They aren't advanced jobs. They are specializations.
You seem stuck in FFXI logic. Mayhaps you need some Gyshal Green soup to clear your head.
you shouldnt have to grind the job seperately at all....
its an equip, that locks out abilities on your character to use other abilities and gain benefits
you are thinking too much like the final fantasy 11 "advanced job" system, which was making new jobs in itself to play on
jobs are NOT advanced classes as such, they are specialized classes which allow for you to play your classes in specific ways
and thus they will level alongside your class(in truth, jobs have NO LEVEL AT ALL)

I'm stuck on nothing. Jobs will replace being GLAD they will shout for 50 Paladins with "all paladin skills unlocked" You are stuck on easy mode. They can just keep digging a short lifespan for the game with how they are making things casual but too casual. it should take some time and not just be a quick hop and a skip away from being max at everything. DoH/DoL has the grind that DOM/W should have.you shouldnt have to grind the job seperately at all....

if someones shouting for a 50, they are doing content which probly needs jobs to begin with when they are released....I'm stuck on nothing. i think you need to take the time to actualy go read up on all the job documentation and discussion out there atm, you may not actualy understand what you are talking about based on what i am seeing
remember, a PALADIN will not have access to certain abilities a gladiator can use, and in exp parties for instance, that may lower their damage output enough to not be viable, whereas in a boss fight, where the tanks damage isnt as important as him holding the boss on him, itl matter alot
the entire point of jobs is NOT to replace classes, but to suplement them with specialized content meant to work in 8 man dungeons and content later on, not to be used in every day situations
and then add in the solo players which will probly SUCK if they equip jobs cuz you will lose access to alot of stuff thats generaly used to be able to solo efficiently
but again, please go read up on jobs, i think you are lacking in several areas of info relating to them based on how you are talking about them

jobs = Grouping. Classes = Solo. Stop repeating the same stuff and making no sense while you do it. Paladin will replace glad for Groups PERIOD all classes are better suited for GROUP PLAY, and with it being as easy as it is to level guess what everyone will be doing? Group play. Maybe you should actually read up and stop typing in the dark. Gla does crap dmg as it is now, who even uses a gla to tank in exp parties anyway? JOBS will infact replace classes in the aspects that matter (pve) unless they break them to the point of uselessness like they did archer as a class.
