Mithril ore yields

I have noticed that most of the ores allow you to gather more than one per whack, but mithril ore is only one per whack. Does this change once you attain a higher level / better gear or is it constant? Just seems odd to me that it is the only ore with single yields.

cobalt i think is also like that i farm for 2hours and could only get 40 at best. It would take me hours with break just to get 99 if someone know where to get it better let us know.

At r46 Miner I can confirm that cobalt can yield more than one ore per whack, but mithril is only ever one at a time. Other r50 mining friends have also confirmed the same, saying Mithril is always one at a time, even if you have the "King's Yield" (or w/e one increases chance for multiple) ability active, which I have personally confirmed.

Being r50 arm as well, I find it more efficient to do either bsm leves for mythril ore or gsm leves for mythril ingots.

Would be happy if they change it =)

There's a fish (Northern Pike) that's the same way. I don't know if it's by design or what, but I can confirm with all the mining done that I can only get one mythril per gather.

Currently I have over 3 stacks of Silver Ore & a little over 1 stack of Mythril, while hitting the Mythril sweet spot. Fun fun.

Increase your "output"?

Output has nothing to do with Yield amount. I currently am a 50 Miner with over 310 Mind and still only get 1 Mythril ore per successful gather.

BTW same goes for me and Rosewood Logs as well with INT over 300.

Mythril Ore has always been 1 max like gems/gold(IIRC)/oysters. I don't remember what the items were for other DoL but I don't think this has changed.

While I know mythril has been around prior to 1.19 and always been 1 per success, I find it odd that now, given that it's the 2nd best tier of ore for BSM/ARM and GLD synths, that it's still 1 per. It's a little silly to have Cobalt the highest BSM/ARM tier ore, and Electrum the highest GLD tier ore be a good bit easier to amass.
