Crit all the way for me. That 15k deathflare crit >_> this wasn't even in full ilvl310 gear
It think crit > SpS is the way to go. Spell speed affects pet damage and DoTs as well as allowing you to pull off faster ruins. Just seems to fit better for summoner.
The stat weights haven't been confirmed yet anyway so take that with a pinch of salt.
I'm going for Crit - SS - DH - DET
like it's been said SS will boost your pet damage (specially ifrits autoattacks) and you can pull more ruins 3
This is the way I've been going. Then Determination if Crit and SpS are full. I've also noticed that the gear itself seems to be coming with plenty of direct hit so see no need to meld it.
I think SS is bad.
Direct Hit -> Crit/Det
Given how some classes benefit of crit, I can't help but think Direct hit numbers have to be slightly better to make up for that (or else there would be absolutely no reason for any class to go direct hit over crit).
As for SS, as far as I know, your pet and bahamut are unaffected by SS. Also, you can't double weave OGCDs with high SS, and high SS also results in worse mana management given SMNs starve quite a bit.
I'm guessing it's same for Spell Speed just need co formation if SS affects the pet too. If is not still worth for them extra ruinsGreetings,
To clarify, Skill Speed does not increase the rate of auto-attacks, but increases the damage of auto-attacks. Apologies for the patch notes not being clear!
Wont spell speed make Bahamut cast his attack more often since its tied to each spell you cast?
