Wow, that's a good thing that people are coordinated like this! If they know hundreds of players have and are moving, the idea of doing it yourself is less stressful.

I dont see the problem ive been on mateus since launch an i have had a house since personal housing became available. if you did not have a house before the transfers well thats your fault for being bad at making gil, so while you pout ill be sitting in my house all nice and comfortable. infact come visit me Oasis ward 1 plot 29 its RP friendly.

I'd say the only real problem is that it's one less transfer incentive. Sure, for players on Mateus, if you were going to get a house, plenty were available regardless. But now, being a preferred world, that was one of the things that could lure players in, being able to buy a house (even a few mediums, when expansion launched) after coming from their overfull servers where they never had that opportunity. Excessively hoarding housing now kinda takes away from that.

If they've had these for months or more, I couldn't really cry foul, but, unless they've gotten a considerable amount of positive feedback, I'd think it'd be far more considerate now to relinquish some of them for the benefit of our new neighbors. At least it would be, if it weren't for the inevitable scalpers, which kinda ruin it just as much.

We have, actually. Almost everyone who actually comes to see what we've built with their own two eyes has been really impressed and supportive. I've made so many friends over this. The past two days has been really heartwarming at best, with a few entertaining spats interjecting the kindness.

(Also want to point out the empty mansion with nothing but cake and vendors that's being tossed around is one of the not-us homes.)

Don't mind any of the hate that comes your way, Seraph. You keep those houses! Finders keepers and all that. It wasn't a problem for others until now. An investigation of the wards before the mass exodus to Mateus probably would have saved many people their tears. I could never own more than one house because I can barely decorate my medium with my housemate, but that's me. Anyway, you just ride out the storm.

I am not, however, going to echo the fact that you had 2 years to collect the gil needed to get a house and was unsuccessful in doing so. That is no one's fault but your own.
