Stuck on this fight for four days now. DPS queues take up to 50 minutes, which is then followed by a group that keeps wiping, usually the healers die and then its just downhill from there.
The fight and mechanics may be well thought out and fun with a good group, but with your standard random group in duty finder that just does not get better and wipes 4-5 times before half the group quits just kills the entire fun and took out all excitement I had to finish the main storyline.
If you work all week and only have a few hours every evening to play, wiping endlessly on a main story fight is just demotivating. I feel like I can do the mechanics in my sleep already but everyone just keeps dying.

take charge and tell people what they're screwing up. if you just expect everyone to be able to do everything without explanation, you're gonna have a bad time.

I did, told the tanks to stack for akh mon, told the group not to forget waterfall. We had one run today where we got to 29% when both healers messed up, dropped dead and we wiped. After that each attempt was worse than the last and the group wiped on adds. -.-

The fight isn't hard if mechanics are followed correctly. Honestly if it's nerfed that'd only help the idea that the game's too dumbed down.

Open a PF and see if you can't get people to fill it up. I'd certainly be happy to help, but it appears that you and I are on different Data Centers.

To the people having trouble with RM take heart - it took me 11 groups but i finally got it done (healer)

1. 2 wipes in phase 1 tank left
2. 3 wipes in phase 2 vote abandon
3. 4 wipes in phase 1/2 (2/2) vote abandon
4. 3 wipes in phase 2 vote abandon
5. 2 wipes in phase 1 tank left
6. 1 wipe in phase 1 tank left
7. first tank dc'ed then me (1 attempt)
8. 3 wipes in phase 2 (all under 10%) vote abandon
9. 3 wipes in phase 1/2 (2/1) vote abandon
10. 6 wipes in phase 1/2 (3/3) vote abandon
11. succes on 1st attempt

You'll get there eventually.

But I must say that I am relived it is finally over. 28 attempts (not counting the dc)

Make it harder.
If after 15 wipes people still don't understand what's going or die on the same place over and over again, then they should ask for clears (or buy them). Or google it.

2 hours dying against Shinryu. Perhaps better I try to catch more gear 300 in Ala Mhigo (I only have weapon and 1 acessory), or to wait Square nerf that. Or both lol

Anyway, I am noob against aoe spam >.<
