Not really a horror story but my friend who is also a Sch and I went into Odin through the duty finder...... Soon as the fight started we started reviving players. Both of us were out of mana from bringing them back from the dead. Never have I seen players die so fast.

This one is rather odd. I was runing void ark. Everything was fine I was main healing and my partner was DPSing. Until the party lost its sanity and began taking more damage than I could out pace. Having burned all my cool-downs I asked politely for my partner to drop stance what with the party being nearly dead.

At this point the entire party turned on me. I got the usual "lazy healer" junk for trying to keep the party alive and my partner who refused to drop stance began saying I had a lot to learn about healing.

I stance dance with the rest of em but when your party starts dying its time to drop the DPS and start healing. Because you know... that's our actual job

I got kicked out of a dungeon for the first time last week. Was doing an ex roulette for Sohm Al hard and dps was just abysmally low, and literally none of the dps were paying attention to mechanics, but that's fine because I'm pretty good at healing stupid. On the very first boss one of the players didn't pay attention to the two proximity large spore pods and got zotted from about 95% health to dead. Soon as boss goes down, I get kicked for not keeping him alive (Note I swiftcast raised him two seconds after he dropped). I jotted down their names (So I knew who to just drop group with if I saw again) and re-queued and was in and out in damn near record time. A quick character search for my own entertainment shows them still in Sohm Al, and judging from the DPS they were putting out it was definitely the same run.

I got kicked out of a dungeon for the first time last week.

With the new contact system you can block players from different worlds. Kicking someone for any other reason than afk, offline, or harassment is a punishable offense that you could report. Which is why I never vote yes on a kick unless its someone who's been out for at least a couple minutes.

Back then when Alexander Gordias was a thing we went "The Cuff of the Father" NM.
Everyone who wont remember: Alex2 is just one big pile of adds spawning all the time, no boss, just lots of adds that can hit really hard. We began and the random WHM startet casting Medica II. Not even one person had taken damage so far. 5 seconds later, he casted Medica II again. I shit you not, he casted Medica II like every 5-8 seconds - WHILE NO ONE TOOK DAMAGE BESIDES THE TANKS.
After some add waves, the Tanks startet to run out of MP/TP (WAR/PLD) because they had to spam their aggro skills so much but sill lost aggro to the WHM. He got flooded with adds and died, adds run wild, killing everyone and we wipe.
The WHM then insulted us and said our Tanks are shit for not holding aggro. Told him, he should simply stop using Medica II so much - Especially if no one besides the Tanks take damage.pulled again. Same thing, same outcome. He insults us again, we kick him. Cleared it after in a one shot.

this was a while back, I was leveling my BLM, and got Satasha on DR-leveling.
our healer was new, and since I main heals I noticed a lot of mistakes.
first mob, s/he was dpsing, no healing. tank died and us 2 dps almost followed, thank goodness we burned down the mob as the tank returned.
told the healer maybe focusing on healing would be better.
next mobs until the first boss was pretty much the same, I had to step in. healed with physick. tank got mad and berated on the healer, forgot how the conversation went, but at least we were able to calm down and agree it's a learning party.
healer even had issues with the tab-targeting (healing the enemies, it was almost funny until I had to step in every once in a while to help)
eventually, we found our rhythm, survived the final boss, and surprisingly for the first time as a dps I got all comms

Healers who bitched everyone in the group who was new out for dying, then proceeded to not heal (had full mp) people so they die to room wide aoe and also die themselves despite their elitist complaining about noobs dying to stuff.

Don't reem other people for mistakes if you're making those mistakes yourself. Regardless of class.

Popped into the instance, someone said "SCH. . . ." and a few min later i was kicked. .
We might be the worst healers right now, but can heal expert without any problems at all <.<;;
