I'm excited to find some RP in game. I only started playing a few days ago so I'm not really sure where to start, nay suggestions? I've RP'd on all the other MMO's I've played in past so I'm plenty familiar with how that works, just not sure where to get a linkshell and a good one to join for RP?

I was thinking of transferring to Mateus too...I ended up transferring out of Balmung because of the whole not able to log in/ long queue times and dcing. I'm in Leviathan now but I feel like so bare and stuff cause my lists are gone. T-T If Mateus seems like a real friendly server with some role play activities/FCs, I would love to join!

This isn't the first thread I've seen you flaming people for adding some extra life to your server.

If you really don't want to share the CPU cycles with anyone else... I think Skyrim may be the game for you. Not one where interaction is practically implied in the genre name.

I've been having a good time in Mateus since moving over, and glad to see other people are excited to set out on new opportunities.

Also, shameless bump on the thread to get the FC recruitment thread some more attention, lol.

Just a friendly invite I don't RP much myself but i do support the practice an enjoy watching it. On that note i know that there is now a housing shortage here so if any RP player needs a friendly house for any RP proposes my doors are always open Oasis ward 1 plot 29.

I've been considering transferring from Cactuar for the incentives and because my FC is dead and I only have one person I consider a friend and they've been very distant and impossible to keep up with for months. There's no RP community on Cactuar, I'm not sure how to go about creating one, and I'm dying to expand with my characters. I've not RPed in an MMO in 15 years, and even then very lightly, so it'd also be new to me. If there's going to be a relatively fresh, growing, and friendly RP community on Mateus I really might transfer.

lol The Quicksand was pretty packed with people tonight, and it might have stayed that way if these two wittle kids weren't spam sitting, dancing and emoting some gay phrase "BEGONE THOT". I already punched in a couple of tickets on them and just waiting for a reply. Just a tip for anyone being harassed just because you RP, don't give up and leave because that's what they want, blist the harassers and punch in tickets, I can say with certainty that if enough people DO report a problem then SE, like any other company that has pressure on them, WILL come investigating and the problem will be resolved. They've went out of their way to save a dying game with such a small fanbase and even publicly apologized AND thanked everyone for it. They DO care about the players despite what whiners want you to believe.
