New and looking to play Dragoon.

Hey all I just picked up the game as I hear the last few patches are getting better. I'm looking to support Square-Enix by paying the monthly fee so 2.0 can be released.

Trying to decide which route to go at the moment and wanted to touch base with you guys.

At the moment I'm level 8 as Lancer and looking to go for Dragoon. What do I actually need to do to get to be a Dragoon?

Also is there a class that our server would really want that they don't currently have? I'm more than willing to go for a specific class if it's in high demand.

if you want switch to mysidia server i can invite you to our LS, id be able to help you more that way. But for your question ther eis no dragoon yet. it will be a lancer job in a patch that comes around jan-feb. So for now lvl lancer. Also dragoon will not have pets(for now) in 14.

The Jobs are not released yet. First, in patch 1.20 (at the end of november-start of december) the class actions will be overhauled (in your case, Lancer actions) and later in patch 1.21 somewhere in January to February the jobs will be introduced.

What we know so far of Dragoon is that you will need to have two classes leveled, Lancer to 30 and some other class to 15. We have no confirmation at this point as to what the second class will be however.

There is still no concrete confirmation which secondary class will be the one required to unlock Dragoon.

It is by no means required, but as far as classes go, it is always the better to level up several classes too besides your main. You will have a wider range of useful abilities to equip, like healing spells, protective spells, Defense up skills, etc. Jobs release which is 1.21 is late January/early February, so up until then you will rely on your class for party play. The more abilities you have, the better.

no , ive recruited several low lvl people recently. they are in the 20 range. It shouldn't take you long to catch up. Ill PL you to 10 in about 10 mins so you dont have to deal with that low lvl grind again. At this point we are mainly looknig for players who will be dedicated to our shell and not just use us up and run. I find that helping low lvl players usually helps form a bond/trust which leads to players sticking around for the long run.
