What it takes to get players to transfer from congested servers

new server: Checked
free transfer: Checked
increased gil transfer: Checked
Gold feather reward: Checked
Chance of no quene time: Checked
Chance of cheaper items: Checked
Chance of owning a cheaper FC/personal house: Checked

I think all there is left is cause them enough pain so they will actually do something.
INCREASE THE QUENE TIME !!!

• New EU server. What relevance does this have for Balmung and Gilgamesh, North American servers?
• Free transfer only matter if we want to leave. We don't.
• I have several million gil and can easily make more through crafting.
• People generally don't base transfer decisions on mounts. Most already have them since they've been out for years now.
• If the queue isn't bothering us...
• Balmung marketboards are the lowest in the entire game by a mile. Ironworks currently says for 169,999. How much is it selling for on Tonberry?
• Only if those houses sit unoccupied for several weeks. And as we've established, gil is extremely easy to make in this game.

And therein lies the problem. None of the perks offer anything enticing for people who prefer their current servers. You don't even get the EXP boost. So.... tell me again why I should transfer when I get nothing out of it?

Because it's fairly common knowledge. Our population means more things sell and are subsequently made. Since you didn't check yourself, I suspect it's selling much higher on your server.
